"At the age of twenty, we don't care what the world thinks of us; at thirty, we worry about what it is thinking of us; at forty, we discover that it wasn't thinking of us at all." I decided to create a new blog for a new decade. I am more wholly me than I have ever been before and for that alone it was time. In 24 days I will turn 40. Over the hill. Middle aged. An age I always viewed with a gasp because it was so… OLD. And here I am. My brain is telling me I’m 18 but my back is saying, yeah no. And my kids are saying, yeah no.
